What is a Virtual Assistant?
Virtual Assistance is a growing industry worldwide and encompasses a wide range of business support professionals who work "virtually" for their clients, ie. from their own small office or home. Mosaic Virtual Office specifically focuses on secretarial/admin/office support - we are effectively an outsourced office assistant.
The growth of this industry has been largely enabled by the development over recent years of broadband connections and internet technology. Much of our communication with clients and most of our work is done via email and software hosted on the internet (The Cloud).
The definition of a Virtual Assistant (VA) will vary according to whom you talk to, but here are a couple:
"A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a highly-trained independent entrepreneur who provides a myriad of business support services virtually via phone, fax and internet-based technology to support and meet the growing needs of businesses worldwide.
Partnering with a VA reduces stress, protects cash flow, eliminates administrative hassles and enables business people to find the success they originally set out to achieve.
A VA is your right hand person helping you to succeed in your business. The irony is you may never meet your VA as odds are they live nowhere near you!"

"Virtual Assistants are partners not employees. True Virtual Assistants provide their clients with much more than completed tasks or balanced spreadsheets ... VAs become virtual partners who handle an overflow of important work that would otherwise prevent businesspeople from building and expanding their business efforts. In fact, for business owners, their Virtual Assistants have played an instrumental role in taking their business to new levels of growth and success.
Virtual Assistants free up their clients' time so they can get on with the business of making money ... With VAs taking care of time-consuming or stress-inducing tasks, business owners can focus on more profitable pursuits."
